Kaezar : This Q&A was posted by author after the Q&A of 259 and before the conclusion volume was out. Since this is slightly related to Vol 23, I'll be publishing this first.
Q. 『The Fighting God participated in the Laplace war.
Badigadi lost to Demon God Laplace in the Laplace war.
In the rankings of the Seven Great World Powers, the Fighting God is at 3rd rank and Demon God at 4th.
Only Badigadi becomes the Fighting God after wearing the Fighting God Armor.』
These are the only things contradictory to me.
Since there are eyewitnesses so it’s settled that Fighting God participated in Laplace war. It’s explained that people other than Badi had worn the Armor but wouldn’t it be contradictory that no one other than Badi can become the Fighting God?
I want an explanation regarding this matter.
A. First, regarding the Fighting God in Laplace war.
The Fighting God Armor itself was never used in the Laplace war.
If there’s someone who’s depicting it as such then that person might be lying or is merely talking about speculation, or perhaps someone pretending himself to be the Fighting God tricked someone and those things that have been written in the books are believed by the people after reading it.
Next, regarding the rankings in the Seven Great World Powers.
The early(temporary) rankings of the Seven Great World Powers were decided after the Demon Dragon King Laplace was defeated.
The Technique God made himself the 1st rank,
made the Demon God 2nd rank,
made the Fighting God 3rd rank(after this is in random order),
made the Dragon God 4th rank,
had been decided as such but during Laplace war, the 2nd rank(Demon God Laplace) fought against the 4th(Dragon God Urupen), and Urupen won that battle due to which the rankings changed.
Finally, regarding the Fighting God and Badigadi.
Only Badigadi can become the Fighting God after wearing the Fighting God Armor himself means that Badi can attain power equivalent(same level as Laplace) to the 3rd of the SGWP.
Because the ‘one’ who wears the ‘Fighting God Armor’ has been registered as one of the SGWP, if one cannot destroy the FGA to the point where it can no longer restore itself, the rankings would remain unchanged.
Therefore, if you only separated Badigadi from the armor and not destroy it afterwards, then the rankings would remain the same.
Of course, if someone doesn’t wear the armor itself then they can’t call themselves the Fighting God, therefore only destroying the armor and not the wearer will still not change the rankings.
However, since the one registered as a SGWP is FGA as well, therefore even if you killed the wearer, as long as the Fighting God Armor doesn’t recognize it’s defeat, the ranking would remain unchanged.
And then the FGA will never recognise its defeat.
Only when the armor is completely destroyed and it’s consciousness disappears only then the rankings would change.
In short, changing the 3rd rank of the Fighting God is quite the difficult task.
Q. ‘Badigadi’s Lying Chapter’ - you aren’t going to persuade me as long as you don’t write that first, ya know? ☆*Winks*
A. It’s chapter 77 ya know? ☆*Winks*
Q. Was it alright writing those song lyrics in response to the Atofe crew question?
Won’t it be bad if you wrote copyrighted lyrics even if Novel community would remain unaffected?
A. I think that it should be fine.....should I delete it?
Q. Because no one died I feel like this was all a farce!
I shouldn't have gotten so excited for the Dragon God fight!
A. Can’t be helped.
But I want you to think that this concluding development had meaning in it.
Q. The one who comes out in events was the author’s body double, really?.......
The MF editorial department is quite kind towards a little girl, eh?..........
A. I get candies & toffees a lot.
I’ve been a good girl so far, so I don’t get a lot of stick.
Q. Elinalize didn’t make too much appearance, don’t tell me she’s with Cliff the whole time!?
A. That’s how it is!
Q. Eh? Is this the conclusion of Young Man Period or conclusion of Mushoku Tensei itself?
A. Conclusion of Mushoku Tensei.
Q. Given that it’s written that the top rankers are extraordinary, I thought that Fighting God too had powers somewhat similar to Laplace who could annihilate an entire continent in half, but now he feels quite a bit too weak.
A. The top rankers are strong.
For someone who can revive laughing while not getting finished off from an attack that could annihilate half of an entire continent.
After that, it was the human race’s victory because of the Barrier Magic that had been advanced during those 4,000 years.
Q. I wonder if Eris wouldn’t become a dungeon capturer─.
I think that if she heard the reunion of Rudeus and Roxy, she’d just charge in.
A. It’s certainly interesting writing about an IF story.
cheers
ReplyDeletecan the fighting god armor actually sealed like badigadi ? will it change the rank then ?
ReplyDeletewait.. wait.. the author is a gurl ?
ReplyDeleteThe name make it obvious
DeleteFUUEEEEE !!!!!!!!
Deleteit think that was more of a running gag/reference to a previous q&a where author got asked whether or not their actually a drowsy eyed blue hair loli
DeleteIt's a running gag. if you check the previous Q&A at the end of some of the chapters, the author jokingly says that "the guy who attends the events is a body double" and that he "is a little fairy". Just for laughs.
DeletePS. His penname means "the irrational backscratcher" BTW (if you don't know what a backscratcher is, it's a stick with a curved end that ends in "teeth" like those of a fork or a rake and it's used to scratch your own back, or whatever part that itches).
when i went to ncode to google translate raws, the authors name was translated to unreasonable scratcher
ReplyDeletethey must be scratching themselves in various places a lot then ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
DeleteAre you guys gonna do the prequel side stories which cover the overthrow of the dragon emperor?
ReplyDeleteThanks again kaisar and co.
ReplyDeleteShall I compare thee to a winters night?
cozy and warmer
Is it my own imagination or does the countdown keep changing its end point?
ReplyDeleteConclusion of Mushoku Tensei itself.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean the story end here? No other volume?
Please reply this, I need to know
That's it. Mushoku Tensei ends here, we will never see a book about Rudi again.
DeleteThe Playback Miko however....
Conclusion of Mushoku Tensei itself.

Yes, story ends here. The author may or may not write some short stories or another novel set in the same universe, but the adventures of Rudeus come to a close.
DeleteAww too bad..
DeleteI really looking forward adult rudy, and the story of his kids, and also the fight between orsted and hitogami
Aww too bad..
